COVID-19 Updates

At SNEC and SERI, the health and wellbeing of patients remains our top priority. We continue to monitor the public health situation closely and adhere strictly to all advice by our government and global health authorities.

To protect our patients and staff, we have made some necessary changes to how we are operating during this period of COVID-19.

As we stepped up our measures, we have installed a custom-made protective shield on our slit lamps across all our clinics. The shield is designed to protect our eye care professionals and patients from respiratory droplets and other secretions during the eye exam. We urge that when you visit our clinic for your appointment, please maintain good personal hygiene. If you are unwell, please contact our call centre to reschedule your appointment and seek medical attention instead.

We’re offering free medication delivery to keep you safe at home.

To minimise the risk of community transmission, crowd control is in place within our pharmacy. As such, waiting time is expected to be longer than usual, especially with the gradual resumption of services.

We would like to encourage our patients to opt for free medication delivery service* so that their time in the centre is reduced. Drop off your original prescription at the SNEC Pharmacy, and our home delivery team will be in touch with you.

*Free home delivery is available until further notice. Terms and conditions apply.

We’re in this together.

COVID-19 will be a long fight in Singapore, and globally. We want to assure you that SNEC and SERI will continue to do our utmost to keep patients, staff and our communities safe. We are confident that as we continue to be vigilant and responsible, it will be yet another defining moment in Singapore’s history that showcases the nation’s unity in strength.

We appeal to everyone to continue to play your part in containing the spread of the virus by being socially responsible and by practicing good personal hygiene. It is imperative to remain calm and vigilant, look out for health advisories and news from reliable sources, and comply with control measures.
