Affiliated Links

Our department is closely affiliated with several international societies.

A selection of these where our doctors are heavily involved include: the World Glaucoma Association (WGA) and the South-East Asia Glaucoma Interest Group (SEAGIG), Asia Pacific Glaucoma APGS, Singapore Society of Ophthalmology (SSO), European Glaucoma Society (EGS).

Several of our doctors are members of the boards of these societies and occupy very senior positions in these organisations. This allows them the opportunity to work for glaucoma patients on a larger scale through research, humanitarian mission work, or acting as patient advocates.

Research collaborations are also widespread across the world and involve the top global hospitals and institutes. Many of the staff are key opinion leaders and are involved with grant-awarding bodies as well grant applications judging, disbursing millions of dollars in grant funding.
