The Visionary Award
This award was inaugurated in 2016 to recognise the resolute commitment by individuals 

whose resolute commitment towards a vision have led to societal benefit in Singapore and the region. The award reflects values that are important to SNEC and SERI and that we would like to acknowledge and applaud.

2017: Dr Lee Seng Tee


Dr Lee Seng Tee is recognised internationally as an established businessman, major philanthropist and patron of the arts. He is also the Chairman of the Lee Foundation, Singapore’s largest private charitable foundation, whose generosity has paved the way towards better empowerment by education, a robust support system for the underprivileged and the furtherance of the arts in Singapore.

2016: Prof Tommy Koh

Prof Tommy Koh is Singapore’s Ambassador-At-Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as Special Adviser of the Institute of Policy Studies and Chairman of the Centre for International Law, National University of Singapore. A familiar name to many Singaporeans, Prof Koh has made significant contributions to local arts and cultural initiatives and is often consulted on international matters.

The Visionsave Inspirational Patient Award
The award recognises resilience, extraordinary courage and strength of character demonstrated by a patient in the face of adversity and healthcare challenges. This is a unique recognition rendered to an individual who has inspired and motivated us in our work, and other patients in their therapeutic journey.

2017: Jason Chee
The inaugural award has been conferred to Jason Chee. Jason is a proud son of Singapore. He not only serves the country diligently through a distinguished Navy career, but he also represents Singapore at the international arena as our national Para-paddler.

His relentless fighting spirit, his interminable perseverance and his formidable strength of character is exemplary. His achievement in winning the individual gold at the ASEAN Para Games 2017 epitomises the triumph of human spirit in the face of great adversity. His eternal optimism with life radiates hope for many people who face similar challenges in life. These invaluable qualities reflect the essence of this award.

Jason is an inspiration to each and every one of us, and he clearly sets a distinct example of how one should carry oneself when confronted with insurmountable impediments in life.
