IMPORTANT NOTICE: COVID-19 (CORONAVIRUS DISEASE 2019)

Stay at home. Only leave your home if it’s essential. This will help stem the spread of coronavirus.
Check out our COVID-19 microsite for regular updates and links to MOH and WHO’s interactive dashboards.

SNEC ACUTE CARE CLINIC

With the evolving COVID-19 situation and national ‘circuit breaker’ measures, SNEC will defer non-urgent appointments, elective surgeries and procedures. This is to free up resources to assist in our national response to COVID-19 and ensure the safety of our patients and staff.

We will be reaching out to affected patients via SMS to update them on their rescheduled appointments.

During this period, urgent eye care services will continue to be available at SNEC Acute Care Clinic, from Mondays to Fridays, 8.30am to 4.30pm.

Urgent Eye Care Services

  • Strictly for urgent eye conditions only, for example:
    • Sudden blurring or loss of vision
    • Severe eye pain or redness
    • Eye injury
    • Serious post-surgery symptoms
  • Cases will be triaged and non-urgent cases will be given appropriate outpatient appointments instead

HEIGHTENED PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES

As part of our heightened surveillance and to reduce the risk of infection at SNEC, all patients, accompanying persons and visitors are required to undergo temperature screening and complete a declaration form before entry to SNEC.

Unwell visitors and accompanying persons will not be allowed to enter our premises.

Only 1 person should accompany you for your appointment. Pregnant women and children (under 12 years old) are discouraged from accompanying patients for appointments.

If you are coming for your appointment, please note that you may be assigned to see a different doctor at another clinic in SNEC during this COVID-19 'circuit breaker' period. This is for the safety of our patients and staff. Please be assured that you will be given the same standard of quality care at SNEC.

ONLINE DECLARATION

You can declare online at https://www.snec.com.sg/tdf or scan this QR code.

Under the Infectious Disease Act, anyone making false declarations can be prosecuted.

SAFEENTRY AT SNEC

From 12 May 2020, SNEC is implementing the SafeEntry system to facilitate contact tracing, should the need ever arise.

All visitors, patients and accompanying persons visiting SNEC are required to provide key information (e.g., name, NRIC and mobile number). This will be done at the point of completing your online declaration form after temperature screening, or through scanning of a QR code displayed at SNEC’s entry/exit points. So, do bring along your NRIC or an identification card with a barcode.

Please remember to check out when you are leaving SNEC and don't forget to practise safe distancing within the Centre.
