Profile

Dr Alfred Tan, is an Interventional Radiologist at the Department of Vascular and Interventional Radiology, Singapore General Hospital (SGH).

He graduated from the University of Glasgow with commendation award and underwent his Clinical Radiology training and Integrated Interventional Radiology fellowship training at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow.

Dr Tan's field of interest include arterial and venous vascular interventions, embolisation for benign and malignant conditions and interventional oncology procedures.

He has a keen interest in education and regularly mentors students from the local medical schools.

Dr Tan is fluent in English, Mandarin and Teochew, and hopes to raise the awareness of minimally invasive Interventional Radiology procedures in Singapore through the use of social media platforms.
