Profile
Dr Singh Prit Anand obtained his MBBS from the University of Pune, India in 1999. Following that, he pursued further training in New Delhi and South East Scotland, deanery before attaining Fellowship of the Royal College of Anaesthetists in 2008. He also underwent further training in advanced pain in Edinburgh.
Following that, Dr Singh then went on to obtain his M.Sc. in pain medicine from the University of Edinburgh. He holds a European Diploma in Regional Anaesthesia and is proficient in the use of ultrasound for various musculoskeletal injections as well as regional blocks for various surgeries. He was the first Scottish fellow for the faculty of Pain Medicine of Royal College of Anaesthetists, London by examination in 2012.
He is currently a Senior Consultant with the Department of Anaesthesia and Surgical Intensive Care at Changi General Hospital (CGH). He performs anaesthesia for general, urological and gynaecological surgery, trauma and orthopaedic surgery, breast and plastic Surgery as well as ophthalmology. Dr Singh has also presented in both national and international conferences.
