Mr Muhammad Alif is currently employed as a full time Exercise Physiologist. He runs clinical exercise sessions, conducts fitness assessments and provides physical activity counselling for the children, adolescent and women patients that engages the Sport and Exercise Medicine Services at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Daily, he trains young athletes (non-carded) to further strengthen and condition their sporting prowess. He also delivers exercise sessions for the elderly looking into maintaining their strength, improve their balance and to prevent falls. He also runs clinical exercise sessions for persons with special needs to assist them in improving their motor skills, agility, balance and co-ordination. He strongly believes that every patient is unique, thus it is important to deliver to his patients the highest quality of care. As part of continual improvement in delivering quality care, Muhammad Alif has been involved in clinical research since 2010 alongside the Adolescent Medicine Service that looks into children and adolescent who are obese with existing comorbidities. He has a strong interest in design and technology. He dedicates his time to look into new and upcoming modalities to enhance patient education and patient care.
