On 5 February 2025, our annual New Year, New Hope staff giving campaign made a heartwarming return. Once again, NHCS staff came together with a shared purpose—to raise funds and bring hope to heart patients in need!
This year’s theme “Be My Soy-Mate” saw NHCS management stepping up to scoop and sell delicious soybean curd with homemade grass jelly. With a minimum donation of $4, staff donors got to enjoy a refreshing treat while making a meaningful difference.
Bringing hope to our patients through scooping; one bowl at a time!
Thanks to the generosity of our staff, more than 270 bowls of soybean curd were sold and net proceeds from the sale would go to the NHCS Heart To Heart Fund, helping financially needy heart patients in their health journey. These funds will go towards easing their medical expenses and daily living costs, offering much-needed relief and hope for them and their families.
Coming Together as One NHCS
Coming together as one NHCS to do good and raise funds for a good cause!
Ms Genevieve Wong, Head of Medical Social Services, NHCS, has seen firsthand how crucial such financial aid is for patients. “In our work, we meet many patients who struggle with financial burden. The NHCS Heart To Heart Fund has genuinely made a real difference, and I’m glad I could contribute in my own way today.”
