At lunchtime on 27 March 2017, Sengkang Health (SKH) treated their construction team to lunch, to thank them for putting in the countless hours of hard labour in building the Sengkang General and Community Hospitals.
SKH CEO Prof Christopher Cheng (centre, in orange polo shirt) and SKH Chairman, Medical Board Assoc Prof Ong Biauw Chi (centre, in blue), posed with the construction team.
5,000 people are working on the construction site towards the 2018 completion.
The Sengkang Health team delivered lunch boxes to the construction workers and set up a photo booth. Many workers had a chance to strike a pose with their fellow workers to bring home photo mementos, to remember the project they have helped build.
Sengkang Health CEO Professor Christopher Cheng shared, "Our construction team led by Penta-Ocean has played an integral role in the building of our Sengkang General and Community Hospitals as it prepares to serve the residents of northeast and for generations to come. We hope that when completed, they will be proud of what they have built and see the fruits of their labour."
"While it was a small gesture, seeing the many happy faces when they received the lunch boxes was enough for us."
