SNEC’s pharmacists work collaboratively with doctors, nurses, allied health professionals and healthcare workers to serve our patients. They help to prepare medications by reviewing and interpreting physician orders, dispense according to good dispensing practice and counsel patients on drug therapy and usage.
Besides dispensing medications, our pharmacists also conduct training, deliver lectures and circulate pharmacy-related updates to help clinicians and nurses keep abreast of the latest developments and implement operational changes in policies mandated by the Ministry of Health, Singapore.
They also actively evaluate drug supplies and review quotations and offers by pharmaceutical companies to ensure that our patients receive medications that are of good standards, safe and affordable.
