Dr Lim Hou Boon

​Dr Lim graduated from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree in 2000. Thereafter, he pursued basic and advanced surgical training in ophthalmology with postings at the National University Hospital as well as Singapore National Eye Centre. In 2009, he obtained his Masters of Medicine (Ophthalmology) and was admitted as a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh). In 2015, he attained specialist accreditation in ophthalmology. Concurrently, Dr Lim is also a holder of a diploma in aviation medicine from the Royal College of Physicians (UK) and an accredited specialist in aviation medicine.  

Dr Lim currently practices general cataract and comprehensive ophthalmology as a Senior Consultant in the Singapore National Eye Centre as well as Changi General Hospital. He is also presently pursuing further sub-specialisation in the field of cataract surgery.
