Profile

Dr Licia Tan is an Associate Consultant at the Occupational Medicine Service in Sengkang General Hospital (SKH).

She is an Occupational Medicine specialist who holds a Masters in Public Health (Occupational Health) and a Graduate Diploma in Healthcare Management and Leadership. She graduated with a medical degree (Hons).

Before embarking on her specialty in Occupational Medicine, she held the title of Head of Department, Clinical Governance and Medical Board Office at SKH. In that role, she worked closely with hospital leadership in its construction - with a deep understanding of the beginnings and workings of a hospital, she has been able to spearhead effective workplace prevention and promotion programmes. 

With a vision to develop the younger generation, she is currently teaching as an adjunct lecturer at the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health undergraduate programme and Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine MBBS program. Her research focus includes workplace health promotion programmes and workplace mental health and well-being.
