CLINICAL OBSERVERSHIP PROGRAMMES IN SNEC
In line with SNEC’s commitment to teaching and training, ophthalmologists from around the world are offered opportunities to observe clinical practice, including surgery. Ophthalmologists who chose to undertake the Clinical Observership programme may select their discipline of interest. The programmes encompass clinical experiences, research and surgery.
Clinical Observership programmes are offered in the following subspecialties:
- General Cataract & Comprehensive Ophthalmology
- Corneal & External Eye Diseases
- Medical Retina
- Ocular Inflammation & Immunology
- Oculoplastic, Orbital & Lacrimal Surgery
- Paediatric Ophthalmology & Adult Strabismus
- Refractive Surgery
- Surgical Retina

Clinical observerships are hands-off and capped at a maximum of 3 months.
All clinical observerships are subject to approval of temporary medical registration and training employment pass.
Accommodation, registration fees, personal insurance and all other expenses will be borne by the Clinical Observer.
