  • All SNEC LASIK surgeons meet strict training and accreditation criteria for the procedure.

  • Regular clinical audits ensure that the highest standards and outcomes are achieved and maintained.

  • With a highly experienced team accustomed to handling a wide range of cases, patients stand to benefit from the collective expertise and experience of SNEC LASIK surgeons.

Service

  • At SNEC, we aim to provide the best outcome and service to all our patients in a First Class setting. Our attention to safety and detail has ensured a consistently high success rate.

  • Besides experienced surgeons, our team of highly trained and dedicated support staff – receptionists, nurses, technicians, optometrists and refractive counsellors – are present to provide personalized care, answer questions, handle special requests and offer guidance to ensure that you enjoy the whole LASIK experience from the first phone call to your last post-operative visit.

  • Patient education material on LASIK in the form of multimedia and booklet are available to ensure that our patients understand what the procedure involves, to help them have realistic expectations and to make an informed decision.

Technology

  • SNEC is equipped with a wide range of equipment and laser systems with cutting edge technology for LASIK to treat a variety of refractive errors in order to meet the needs of its patients.

  • SNEC continually upgrades its capabilities to treat broad ranges of myopia (short-sightedness), hyperopia (long-sightedness) and astigmatism utilising the latest laser refractive surgery technologies.

  • We are equipped with 4 US FDA approved lasers:
    1)
2 Bausch & Lomb Technolas 217z100 Zyoptix wavefront-guided iris-recognition LASIK system for customised LASIK.
    2)
Alcon LADARVision 4000 excimer laser. This is another first in Singapore introduced by SNEC. It is equipped with advanced features that can treat high degrees of myopia with minimal corneal tissue removal.

    3)
The latest Intralase Femtosecond Laser for bladeless LASIK. The laser uses tiny, ultra-precise pulses to laser to create the corneal flap instead of a blade.

  • With your surgeon’s advice, you will be able to choose the right system for yourself.

  • The Bausch & Lomb Zyoptix Diagnositic Workstation provides computerized corneal mapping and aberrometry wavefront analysis for patients undergoing wavefont-guided LASIK.
