Children commonly present to our clinics with red, itchy, sensitive and watery eyes.

These can be caused by different eye conditions, such as:
- Virus or bacterial infections (conjunctivitis)
- Infected and inflamed eyelids (stye, chalazion, or blepheritis)
- Irritation due to in-turned eye lashes (epiblepheron)
- Sensitive allergic eyes (allergic conjunctivitis)
- Dry eyes
- Blocked tear ducts (nasolacrimal obstruction)
- Foreign material (eg dust) embedded in eye
In our clinics, it is important to look for all these conditions and treat them appropriately.
