The Paediatric and Strabismus Unit at the Singapore National Eye Centre, sees a variety of childhood eye diseases, and adult strabismus (or squints).
This includes:
- Recurrent red, itchy, painful, watery eyes
- Refractive errors
- Hyperopia (long-sightedness), myopia (short-sightedness) and Astigmatism
- Children with amblyopia (lazy eyes)
- Children with poor vision from other causes
- eg. cataract, glaucoma, retinal, optic nerve, or other medical problems
- Children and Adults with strabismus (Squints)
