PAYMENT

You may settle your bill by cash, NETS, credit card, AXS Station or cheque. Crossed cheques should be made payable to "Singapore National Eye Centre Pte Ltd". For payment from overseas, Telegraphic Transfer and Bank Draft are also acceptable.

IMPORTANT

Patients will be classified as First Visit if:

patients have been discharged, or
the last visit has lapsed by more than 24 months

• Restructured Hospital with SOC private payment status or discharged inpatient class A or B1

SUBSIDISED RATE APPLIES WHEN YOUR FIRST VISIT IS VIA :

Non-named referral letter from:
• Restructured Hospital with SOC subsidised payment status, discharged inpatient class B2+,
B2, C or A&E
• SAF
• Polyclinic

JOINT COMMISSION INTERNATIONAL

Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation is internationally recognized as a premier credential for hospitals and other medical institutions. It is an international mark and endorsement for quality patient care and safety, and organisation management. The JCI accreditation program initiated in 1999 was designed to evaluate all the functions of acute care hospitals and medical centres. SNEC was accredited in December 2009.

EXCELLENCE FOR SINGAPORE AWARD

The Excellence for Singapore Award was set up by the Singapore Totalisator Board in 1996 to recognise and honour individuals, groups of individuals or organisations that bring credit to Singapore by being among the best in their areas of activity in Asia or in the world. SNEC has been bestowed the award since 2003.

PEOPLE DEVELOPER

People Developer is the certification for the business excellence niche standard for people. It provides organisations with a total approach to managing people and achieving high performance through its people systems. SNEC has been certified since 2002.

ISO 9001:2008

ISO 9001 is the globally implemented standard for providing assurance about the ability to satisfy quality requirements and to enhance customer satisfaction in supplier-customer relationships. SNEC achieved the certification in 2005 and has also been accredited with ISO 9001:2008 (UKAS) since year 2008.

EXCELLENCE SERVICE AWARD

The Excellent Service Award (EXSA) is a national award managed by SPRING Singapore and nine industry lead associations. This award recognises the best of the best individuals who have delivered outstanding service in their respective industries. SNEC has been conferred the national award in 2004.

SINGAPORE QUALITY CLASS

Singapore Quality Class (SQC) is the certification for the overall business excellence standard. Based on the internationally benchmarked business excellence framework, the SQC provides organisations with a holistic model for managing a business for excellence. It has 7 categories, namely, Leadership, Planning, Information, People, Processes, Customers and Results.

Certification to SQC is determined by the organisation's performance in the Business Excellence Assessment for Continuous Improvement (BEACON). The assessment allows an organisation to benchmark its own management systems and practices against the criteria requirements of the business excellence framework.

SNEC achieved the award since 2005.

WORK-LIFE EXCELLENCE AWARD

The Work-Life Excellence Award is conferred to organizations for their excellence in Work-Life strategies. The award pays tribute to organizations that are committed to helping employees harmonise work and personal needs. SNEC achieved the award since 2006.

Servi-Cert^TM

Servi-Cert^TM is a service certification adapted from France and introduced into Singapore by the SGS International Certification Services Singapore Pte Ltd. To be accredited with ServiCertTM is an endorsement that SNEC has in place a service delivery system of international standard. This means SNEC's patients can look forward to service of the highest and most consistent quality. Patients can be assured that their needs and safety remain top of SNEC's priority as we continuously improve our facilities and premises. SNEC has been certified since April 2007.
