The emerging field of lamellar corneal transplantation is the new paradigm shift in corneal surgery. This symposium will discuss the latest innovations and surgical techniques in anterior and posterior lamellar keratoplasty, with a focus on Automated Lamellar Therapeutic Keratectomy (ALTK) and Descemets Stripping Automated Endothelial Keratoplasty (DSAEK). Patient selection, indications, clinical outcomes, complications and combined procedures will be presented, and attendees will have the opportunity to participate in an open forum discussion with panelists.
